‘Blast Off!’ is a miniature walkabout ‘crankie’ performance for audiences of 2 at a time. Participants are invited to listen to a 2 1⁄2 minute audio composition via headphones whilst watching a beautifully illustrated crankie scroll. Together, these two mediums tell a story about space travel, football, and friendship. Ideal for audiences of all ages, ‘Blast Off!’ is a perfect piece of short, intimate, and gentle walkabout theatre that engages those looking for a more quiet experience within a festival/event environment.
