The Confessional Team are back once again for another exciting event, showcasing the grassroots music scene across the UK. With a focus on development, behind the scenes The Team have curated something a little bit different for Confessional; a much smaller stripped back event delivering an affordable night in exchange for the Confessional trademark of catching great bands just before their next big breakthrough.

In an attempt to revive live music in Blackburn, The Confessional Team have hosted in eclectic venues in Blackburn, most recently the Grade 2 listed Cotton Exchange. Confessional Takeover will be held at the beautiful Blackburn Cathedral Crypt for the first time on Saturday 5th October; A stunning and historic venue in the heart of Blackburn Town Centre.

Known for starting the “I saw them in a room full of 500 people” conversation, Confessional has staged the likes of Rianne Downey, Brooke Combe, International Teachers of Pop, Calva Louise, and Red Rum Club. This time, the stage will be graced by North West psych punks The Dream Machine with support from Fake Dennis, Hungry and Pretty Shivers, with the night being topped off with a set from El Grego (Demented Disco) all for just £10!
