Join us for the lantern parade and light festival on 14th December, as the amazing annual light parade returns to Blackburn.

The parade will line up at 4.45pm outside the Cathedral, and sets off at 5.15pm before the finale at 6pm on King William Street in front of the Town Hall.

Take part in lantern making workshops which also run each Saturday in the lead up to Christmas.

The illuminated window trail also begins from 7th December and runs until Christmas Eve.

Blackburn Festival of Light is an annual celebration by and for the people of the town. Community ownership and engagement is at the heart of the festival.
The event is run by a team of artists from Blackburn Festival of Light CIC, in partnership with Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council and Blackburn BID.
