Come to The Bureau and make yourself a willow and paper lantern for this year’s Blackburn Festival of Light Event
they will be hosting a small number of lantern making workshops at The Bureau Centre for the Arts, 5 Exchange Street (next door to The Making Rooms.
Come and work with a professional lantern artist from The Blackburn Festival of Light team to create a beautiful paper and willow lantern for the Blackburn Festival of Light on Saturday 30th November.
This year’s theme is the Festival of the Moon so we will be making moons, moths and hares!
All workshops are accessible, and suitable for age 5-95. Not compulsory to come with a child!! This is a messy gluey activity, so please wear suitable clothing.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Places are limited so please book.
Please arrive at the start of the session in order to give yourself time to finish your lantern.
The Bureau Cafe will be open 11am – 3pm for hot and cold drinks and a selection of home made cakes.
