The Giant Wheel Company is bringing its 50-metre wheel to Blackburn… and it’s HUGE! 🚨

It’ll arrive early next week and will be ready to open from next Saturday (May 3^rd).

It’s the tallest transportable wheel in the whole of the UK – the height of 11 double decker buses stacked up – and it’s heading to Cathedral Square.

From the top, you’ll be able to enjoy panoramic views over the Cathedral, the town and beyond.

The wheel will be here for five weeks – until Sunday 8th June – taking in:

✅ Both May Bank Holidays

✅ VE Day commemorations

✅ And the May half-term too!

Following the success of the Darwen wheel, this one is even bigger too with 36 enclosed gondolas, including wheelchair access.

Here’s everything you need to know:

📍 The wheel will be in Cathedral Square – opposite Blackburn Railway Station, close to @Blackburn Cathedral and right outside @Checks and Greys Café and @The Firepit

🕛 Opening times:

– Sunday to Friday: 12noon – 10pm
– Saturdays: 11am – 10pm

To mark VE Day, The Giant Wheel Company is also offering free rides to all serving Armed Forces personnel and veterans too. Please just show your ID at the ticket office.
