105 years of history – one unforgettable afternoon
When King George’s Hall officially opened on 21 October 1921, the Hallé was there to mark the occasion, performing to an audience of almost 3,000 people.
Now, more than a Century later, the orchestra returns to the very same stage to celebrate the venue’s Grand Civic Reopening.
It’s a remarkable connection between Blackburn’s past and its future – and your chance to be part of the next chapter in the story.
The afternoon, hosted by the Mayor of Blackburn with Darwen, the afternoon will start with a drinks reception.
