We’re hosting what is is expected to be Lancashire’s largest Christmas Tree Festival and we’re looking forward to welcoming significant numbers of guests from across the region.
About the Festival
The Festival will run from Monday 30th November until Sunday 20th December, during which time the Cathedral will be transformed into a magical, festive wonderland.
Lancashire’s most iconic building will be filled with real trees – all individually hand decorated – to deliver a wonderful festive family experience.
There will be a number of late night viewings, guests will be able to vote for their favourite and there will also be a Community Memory Tree where messages can be left for a loved one.
Get Involved
We’re calling on local schools, businesses, charities and community groups to get involved and sponsor a tree.
Trees will be displayed across the Cathedral and there are a range of tree sizes to choose from with prices based on the size.
You can decorate your own tree in any way you wish and you are encouraged to be as creative and imaginative as you wish!
Places are strictly limited so book early to secure your tree.
