Join Crochet Crazy Creations for a creative community project as we come together to produce a stunning display of handmade crochet poppies around The Table for the Nation.

You are warmly invited to attend crochet sessions where you can make your own poppies in a relaxed and supportive environment.

This special session invites everyone from complete beginners to experts and crochet groups to take part in creating beautiful red poppies that will form part of a powerful visual tribute for Remembrance Sunday.

Guided by Rachael from Crochet Crazy Creations, you’ll learn simple crochet techniques (or build on existing skills) to ensure everyone can contribute to this special community artwork. Each poppy made represents a personal act of remembrance, honouring those who have served and sacrificed.

All materials will be provided, and guidance will be available throughout, making this suitable for all abilities – whether you are picking up a crochet hook for the first time or are an experienced maker.

As part of the project, you will have the opportunity to donate your handmade poppies – the finished pieces will come together to create a striking collective display which will be incorporated into the final Table for the Nation Remembrance Sunday display.

This special event will take place around The Table for The Nation.
